ABOUT ABOUT

Scarecrow Competition

Saturday October 4th, 12-2:30pm (during the scarecrow festival)

Get ready to show off your creativity at this year’s Scarecrow Festival! All property owners are encouraged to participate in the Scarecrow Building Competition, one of the exciting highlights of the new event, the Scarecrow Festival! Pre-build your scarecrow masterpiece and bring it to the festival for display and judging.

Scarecrow drop-off and setup will take place between 9 AM and 11AM before the event begins. During the festival your neighbors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites!

Tips:

You may construct your scarecrow on any kind of base you prefer (wood stand, frame, etc.).If you’d rather not bring a stand, that’s fine! You’ll be able to attach or prop your scarecrow onto one of the columns around the concert field once you arrive.

Scarecrows can be standing, sitting, or posed however you’d like.

Sitting scarecrows are welcome—get creative with chairs, benches, or other props.

If you choose not to bring a stand, please bring any supplies (rope, zip ties, tape, etc.) you may need to secure your scarecrow to a column.

Use your imagination! Funny, spooky, traditional, or artistic—any theme is welcome.

Please keep designs family-friendly, as this is a community event.

Trophies and prizes await the winners, so gather your family, friends, and fall spirit to help make this competition a success.

FREE to enter!

After the festival, take your scarecrow home to proudly display at your chalet!
