We are excited to have Stephen from Photo Pros St Louis offer this new, 3-class series on professional photography! The first class will be a lecture and the next two will be Photo Walks at two of Innsbrook’s most beautiful spots, the Stables and IHS village.
You are welcome to take one class or attend all three! (Taking the lecture class is not required before a Photo Walk class but is recommended!)
Here are the details:
Photo Lecture class: Saturday April 9th,10:30am-12:00pm
Lecture: - Basic understanding of photography/using your camera including, buttons, dials and levers, aperture, rule of thirds (composition), why and when to use a tripod and photographic examples
Photo Walk 1 at Innsbrook Stables/Farmhouse area: Friday April 22nd, 5:30pm-7:00pm
Photo Walk 2 at IHS Village (Log Cabin area): Saturday May 14th, 8:00am-9:30am
***This is not a lesson on using your camera – this is for making the correct setting changes to get the best image and composition…although we will always try to help.
We will walk around the area discussing what a professional see, what lenses to use and why. Also discussed will be what aperture to use to get great landscapes and great images with a soft background. We will look at the participant’s images during class and make suggestions as to changes necessary to get a better image.
This will be a rain or shine event. Photographing in the rain is wonderful! We would just suggest that the dress properly and have an umbrella or waterproof camera cover. You can also use a clear trash bag that has the lens cutout and rubber banded to prevent rain from damaging the camera.
