As summer is winding down and fall approaching: Time to learn something new. I would like to invite you to join me in an introductory session about MINDFULNESS.  You have probably heard this term before and perhaps been just a bit curious.

What is Mindfulness?  What is it all about?  How may it fit into your life?  We live in a very hectic world that can easily create a feeling of being overwhelmed or disconnected.  Do you ever feel distracted, fragmented or just stressed?  All of these things can cause sleep disruption and fatigue and interfere with being fully aware of each moment that we want to experience and enjoy.

Mindfulness is a technique you can learn to utilize when any of these situations arise in your daily life to create and recognize a sense of well-being that is available to you at any time. It has been well documented in science and medicine that our physical health and well-being is directly connected to our thoughts, emotions and feelings.

Please join Janice Anderson for an Introduction to Mindfulness: Tuesday October 23 - 6pm at Charrette Creek Commons.  The introduction is free, but pre-registration is required.

After the introduction, we will offer a 3 week class.  The classes will be October 30, November 6, and 13.  The cost will be $12.00 or $5.00 for an individual class.  Pre-registration is required.
