Artist Workshop- Oil Painting Portrait Class
Join Amy Jamison for a full-day workshop giving participants a thorough and enriching artistic experience!
In this workshop, we will discuss under-paintings and how to sketch your basic outline with paint. We will do a quick warm up as a group, then participants will break apart and work on their own paintings. Our goal is to work alla prima and finish mostly in one sitting. Students may bring portrait photos of their own in black and white, or use the same ones as the instructor, there will be multiple to choose from. Materials will be provided but students may also bring their own materials if they wish. Class is limited to 8. We will break for lunch so please bring a sack lunch with you.
